About Temple

Kizhakkedath Daivathumparambu Temple is dedicated to the Lord Siva and Parvathi , located in the village of Perinjanam,Trissur in Kerala, India( approximately 42 km from the city of Trissur). It is one of the most important places of worship for Hindus of Kerala and is often referred to as "Daivathum Parambu". Temples with Siva Parvathi Idol installation are rare enough, but temples with Lord UmaMaheswara as the presiding deity, are rarer still. Kizhakkedath Daivathumparambu Temple is the first and of foremost importance among such temples of Kerala.

Lord Dharmasasta is the son of Lord Siva and Mohini,the female transformation of Lord Vishnu depicted in the famous story of 'Palazhi Mathanam' in epics and puranas. He is addressed as Hariharasudhan, which means son of Hari (Vishnu) and Hara (Shiva).

Idol of God Sree Ganapathi temple situated , inside(south part) of UmaMaheswara temple . Ganesha has been ascribed many other titles and epithets, including Ganapati (Ganpati) and Vighneshvara. One popular way Ganesha is worshipped is by chanting a Ganesha Sahasranama, a litany of a thousand names of Ganesha. Each name in the sahasranama conveys a different meaning and symbolises a different aspect of Ganesha

Idol of God Sree Muruga temple situated , inside(north part) of UmaMaheswara temple . Kartikeya also known as Murugan, Skanda, Kumaran, Kumara Swami and Subramaniya, is the Hindu god of war. He is the Commander-in-Chief of the army of the devas and the son of Shiva and Parvati.

Vinayaka Chadurthi , MahaGanapathi Havanam -This event comes on the Chathurthi tithi on Karuthapaksham(New Moon) of Chingam.

Vidhyarambham - in the month of Kanni.

Mandala Pooja - Starts from vruschikam 1 to Dhanu 11.

Maholsavam - Thirivathira in Dhanu (starts from Aswathi to Thiruvathira) .
